LOVE IT! Perfection of JBL sound with Google
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this Google Assistant JBL Speaker with Google Home display. Fantastic sound, larger screen than on A Google Home hub, with superior sound. I use as a bedroom clock, music streaming devise with additional JBL Link 300 paired on other nightstand. Images from Google are on auto rotation during the day with clock in bottom left of screen and when room darkens display changes to a very dim and large digital clock that is perfect for nighttime. I wish JBL would consider a new revised version with more of the Google Home/Assistant capabilities. This is my favorite smart device in my home by a long shot. Considering adding a Link View unit for my kitchen and master bathroom also.

Better mic and responsiveness than Google Hub MAX!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this and I decided to return it for the Google Nest Home Max as it has a better display. I returned that and went back to this and I am glad I did! First the JBL has better sound, by far! 2nd The communication is better than Google! The Mic's are by far way better on the LinkView and the responses super fast. I was in another room and spoke in normal voice and this thing picked it up no problem. The Google Nest Home Max was hit and miss, also I can say "Hey Google" and state my command and JBL was right on it. The Google device I had to say "Hey Google" wait and then ask it something. At 200.00 off Get this!!

Amazing Sound!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, good size, easy to cast to as well and control the Smart home devices. The sound I'd the star. Pounding and clear. Only drawback would be the screen is slightly faded and attracts a lot of glare. But other than that. This is an absolute power house at $99.

Great sound-voice communication inconsistent
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this bc I can watch videos on utube without having to boot up my iMac or use my phone- my only complaint is that voice communication isn’t always consistent- maybe it’ll get better the more I use it.

Great Google Assistant device.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that Google has discontinued their Chromecast audio those of us who have taken the plunge on the Google play music system are forced to seek alternatives and this display, especially at the $99 sale price, fits the bill quite nicely. The display is handy enough on it’s on but coupled with the well balanced JBL speakers this is quite a combination. I own a Lenovo display as well as several JBL Link speakers and this unit is a winner. The screen is a bit smaller than the Lenovo display but the speakers are a step up (not that the single speaker on the Lenovo isn’t decent). JBL has a knack for putting out great sounding speakers and this unit is no exception.

Neat little piece of tech with big sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must admit that I was skeptical when I ordered this. I thought the screen would be so small and that other reviews touting the sound might be exaggerated. I have been pleasantly surprised. For starters, our kitchen experience has been enhanced ... we tell Google to play whatever music we're in the mood for and dance while we cook (you know what they say ... happy wife ...), and it's loud enough to party and the quality meets my expectations for everything from classical to 'rock the house' genres. The screen is actually big enough to read recipes. I don't print them anymore ... just google them and read as we go. We've used the music, Google assistant, timers .. so for me, it's well worth the convenience and features. Well, who doesn't appreciate Google? Now I appreciate JBL sound quality :-) I do wish the device had a built in rechargeable battery. I'd like to be able to move it to whatever room I'm hanging out in easily.

Q: QuestionRecently bought the JBL Link View. Outstanding sound & a good screen. Others have commented about the lack of multi-room support. They are correct but rumor is that Google will provide that. My question....when is that happening? Who knows the answer?
Asked by PeteGio.
- A:Answer Multi room is working in my speaker group.

Q: QuestionCan I view/see my Ring doorbell 2 recording videos or my Ring stick up camera recoding videos on the JBL Link View? Because my Echo Show 5 allows me to view/see my Ring doorbell 2 recording videos or my Ring stick up camera recoding videos.
Asked by JoeC.
- A:Answer No, unfortunately, Ring partners with Amazon, so you need an Echo product.

Q: QuestionI can not get my link view to connect with any other google smart devices. It acts as if it’s a stand alone unit. Why would google put they’re name on it if it’s not compatible. It won’t even work with another link view.
Asked by Smartin8504.
- A:Answer I'm not sure what you mean by "connect with" other devices. These devices all connect through your wifi. You can use the Google Home app to set up "groups" to play music on several devices at once. You can also use it to broadcast messages to other google devices in your home.

Q: QuestionFrom reviews I understand the sound is better than the Google Home but we use it on a shelf located between two rooms. The Home works great because of the 360 degree sound. How is the sound when standing behind the unit? Is it different than front?
Asked by Amyshubby.
- A:Answer Yes the sound is different because there is no speakers facing the back of the unit, but it is still loud enough to enjoy, I love my JBL link view.

Q: QuestionFor video calls, can you use Apps such as Skype or Viber?
Asked by Michael.
- A:Answer You can make and receive calls on your LINK VIEW display if both parties have configured Google Duo calls on both devices. Only Google Duo can be used for video calling.
