This does not have an oil filter. The above description refers to an oil drain valve. After the oil is discharged through the oil valve, the oil residue can be more easily deposited at the bottom of the oil tank. This can relatively isolate some of the denser oil residue, but it does not have the function of an oil filter.

Recently purchased this item for home use. It's very nicely made and a very nice piece of equipment. The cleaning is relatively easy but be careful there's a lot of sharp edges on the heating elements. I cut myself twice. And they're just as bad as a paper cut. Would recommend it
We needed a slightly bigger fryer and this one did not disappoint! We loved that it had a XL basket and 2 small baskets. Heats up oil quick and we were able to keep more fried food ready to serve. Definitely recommend this fryer.

I didn't realize how bad my deep fryer was until we got this one! It cooks in half the time. It used to take 10 minutes for a batch of fries, now they are ready in less than 6 minutes! I love how fast and even that it cooks. Loving the new one and we are using it about once a week!
